Perfectionism
As a recovering perfectionist, I understand how easy it is to have perfectionism become the robber of joy. If we want to diminish perfectionism, one of our first steps is to learn about it.

In this class, we'll work on understanding:
-
three kinds of perfectionism with an emphasis on self-oriented perfectionism.
-
two ways perfectionism can show up in our lives.
-
the difference between high standards and perfectionism.
-
what makes perfectionism so attractive.
-
scriptural references to perfectionism and how to alter our way of reading them.
-
Christ's Atonement and perfectionism.
-
some strategies to help you begin your own work on recovering from perfectionism.
You'll also be given a detailed handout for easy referencing and note taking.
